I completed my BSc Biodiversity and Ecology, BSc (Hons) Zoology and my MSc Zoology at Stellenbosch University. For my honours degree I conducted research on Diceros bicornis minor (Black rhino) and their genetic health in game reserves in KwaZulu-Natal. My MSc project investigated gene flow patterns of Ceratitis capitata using molecular tools in South Africa at different spatial scales.
